At just $80, the new SG 2.5 Loop H-bar is a pretty low cost way to try out the combination of the higher bar position and the multiple swept back hand positions of the Jones Loop H-bar. All Jones H-Bars use a 31.8mm stem clamp diameter, 22.2mm clamp size for controls (standard mountain bike style). The entire front loop has a 22.2mm diameter. The Loop H-Bar has the same hand, stem and brake lever position as the original H-Bar but the cross bar sweeps forward to allow the levers to go behind the cross bar instead of in front.

The carbon Loop H-Bar shares the same dimensions as the aluminum 710 bar, measuring 710mm wide with a 31.8mm diameter clamp surface. Jones claims the Carbon 710 Loop H-Bar only weighs 275g. If accurate, that would represent a 240g reduction over the 516g aluminum model. Even with nearly half the weight, the carbon bar has passed the same EN/EU.
